Fascinating Personal History of a Patriot
From his 1941 beginnings to his four years at the US Naval Academy (Class of 1963) into his work in the early years of the Space Program, this is a first-person account that covers an impressive span of struggles and achievements. There is something for every reader, from a look at our US of A in the 1950s and how technology and engineering have advanced in the span of some sixty years. Especially of interest to me was his coverage of Life at the Naval Academy and his genealogy, to include a beautiful photo of grandmother Florence. Bravo Zulu, Sir!
